PARIS, Jul 22 (PRIME) – The E.U. energy ministers will discuss reduction of dependence on Russian gas, oil and coal on July 26, a French Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Friday.
“The E.U. has decided to gradually reduce dependence on Russian gas, oil and coal imports as soon as possible... It will be one of the main issues at next Tuesday's meeting of the E.U. energy ministers,” the person said.
Earlier the European Commission said that winter preparation of the E.U. is based on the scenario, which envisages that Gazprom will no longer supply gas to Europe.
